Aarbakke and Rosenberg working together to create jobs

 In News

A working relationship between Aarbakke and Rosenberg is set to boost revenues by NOK 200 million and create 140 new jobs.

A fresh working relationship between the Rosenberg Worleyparsons AS shipyard in Stavanger and the mechanical specialist Aarbakke AS in Bryne is to put both companies in a better position to land bigger contracts from the oil industry and related sectors. The two companies are to work together to take on jobs in the field of underwater solutions – also known as the “subsea market”. Rosenberg manufactures products such as seabed frames, and Aarbakke is skilled in producing the equipment mounted in these frames.

By working closely together, the companies anticipate being able to reduce costs by as much as 10–15 per cent.

“We hope that we’ll be able to cut costs by giving customers a single supplier to work with, rather than several. At the same time, we should be able to reduce logistical and administrative costs,” explains Inge Brigt Aarbakke, CEO of Aarbakke AS.
