In addition, the finalists are characterized by both good profitability and strong adaptability says jury leader Torger Reve.
Aarbakke is a Bryne company and a leading player in the production of advanced and specialized components and assemblies for the oil and gas industry. The company, with its 300 employees, has also been a finalist twice before – which says a lot about Aarbakke. The jury points out that the company has been through major change processes several times, and they have once again managed to create success.
The company has been transformed with the help of digitalization, and they are at the forefront when it comes to technology use and automation. Among other things, they have solved the challenge of releasing and contextualizing captured data, which means that they can make targeted decisions to increase productivity. “Make data do more”, as the company likes to say. Aarbakke is today a distinct Industry 4.0 company that, through the newly established company Ignos, delivers relevant solutions for renewable energy and sustainable industry.
