Aarbakke – Smartest Industrial Company 2021?
One of these will be Norway’s smartest industrial company in 2021: Aarbakke, Glencore Nikkelverk or Corvus Energy.
This year, as last year, there has been a tough competition, and the three candidates who are now fighting to go all the way to the top have excelled in various ways. – Common to the companies is that they are innovative and at the forefront when it comes to digitization, automation, and sustainability. In addition, the finalists are characterized by both good profitability and strong adaptability says jury leader Torger Reve.
Aarbakke is a Bryne company and a leading player in the production of advanced and specialized components and assemblies for the oil and gas industry. The company, with its 300 employees, has also been a finalist twice before – which says a lot about Aarbakke. The jury points out that the company has been through major change processes several times, and they have once again managed to create success.

Among other things, they have solved the challenge of releasing and contextualizing captured data, which means that they can make targeted decisions to increase productivity. “Make data do more”, as the company likes to say.
